Swine Flue Procedures…
At the start of each day, one of the nurses will draw up some swine flu vaccines to be given to pt’s during their appointments with the doctor. These will be in a kidney dish in the fridge with the batch number and expiry time. Please help yourself, and let the nurse know if you are taking the last one. This will hopefully help vaccinate more of our patients via opportunistic vaccination.
If you are busy, and the nurses have time, we may be able to do some for you -please call first though.
We will be still running the flu clinics.
Doctors Information Folder
There is a Doctors Information Folder, located in the tea room.
All FRIDAY FAXES, NEVDGP INFO, INVITATIONS and other relevant information for THE DOCTORS will be put in this folder instead of e-mailing.
Making Notations about Patients Knowledge of Sunday Fees
When you book a Bulk Billing patient in for a Sunday Appointment, Remember to inform them that Sunday Clinics are Private Billing for all patients, including children & Concession Card Holders. If and when they book the appointment after being inform of the fees, Always make a notation that the patient has been informed:
- on the appointment details note and
- in the patients details screen, in the Notes section with the date they were informed, to the words of “Patient told about Sunday Fees 9/11/09”
